From Liliana Musco
I have belonged to the Italian and French Cross-Stitch Club for twenty years. In the French magazine „Marquoir“ I read about the book „Fäden verbinden“ by Pascale Goldenberg and wanted to learn more about Afghanistan, the project and the embroideries. I love to travel and how it provides me with insight into other cultures and their traditions. I particularly like the small embroidered Afghan squares, especially the Hazara embroidery and Pascale’s cultural and humane concept.
I love my home. Tablecloths and pillows belong there absolutely and when I find things I like during my travels, I am already thinking of where I can find room for them in my house. I love color, I love life, I am optimistic person and I like to design things for my family in Sicily and in the U.S. I’ve been embroidering now for over twenty years, it is not just a hobby – it is my life, especially now that I’m a retired doctor.
