Flowers-Duo
Spring is here, and together with it a new gallery of flowers, a very special one. Usually, the women in the villages are free in their embroidering, this time, however, their works have been created in a different way. Some selected embroiderers were given photographs of textile specimens from the German Artist Elsbeth Nusser-Lampe (images of details or of pieces as a whole), by Elsbeth Nusser-Lampe
The women were encouraged to be inspired by these images and to create a personal, individual interpretation on the basis of these pictures. The results were so convincing that we presented them for the first time at the great textile event in Alsace last September 2019. If you were not there, there is a chance now to admire these little pieces of art and to ordert hem.
